Three men arrested after stabbing outside gym in Gloucester

Three males have been arrested in connection with an incident in Gloucester on Sunday evening, March 17.

At around 5pm police were called with a report that someone had been stabbed outside a gym in St Oswalds Retail Park.

It is understood that there was an altercation outside the gym which involved a group of people who are known to each other. The suspects then fled in a vehicle.

Searches took place, including by armed officers and with support from the National Police Air Service, and three males were arrested.

The victim, a 21-year-old man, sustained wounds and he has since been discharged from hospital.

A teenager and a man aged in his 20s were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. The pair, who are both from Gloucester, remain in police custody.

A man in his 40s and from Gloucester was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and he has since been released on bail.
