ProCook appoints marketing director

Gloucester-based ProCook  has announced the appointment of Claire Tait as marketing director.

Claire has a strong marketing background gained through a career in the retail and consumer sectors and she joins ProCook following an eight-year tenure at lifestyle brand Joules where she held leadership roles in ecommerce and marketing before her most recent position as customer director.

ProCook CEO Lee Tappenden said: "We're at a pivotal point in the ProCook journey and it's vital that we keep telling people about the incredible range, experience and value we offer.

"Claire's strong commercial acumen combined with her creativity and passion for storytelling is a unique combination that is hard to find, and perfect for the unique challenges ahead.

"We are delighted to welcome her to the team and can't wait to see what she will bring to the brand."

Commenting on her new position, Claire said: "I had an instant rapport with the team at ProCook and loved their passion for cooking and obsession with product.

"ProCook is a brand with great values underpinning its purpose and there is a massive opportunity to unlock the ProCook story to deepen connections with new and existing customers."

ProCook is the UK's leading direct-to-consumer specialist kitchenware brand.

The brand sells directly through its website, www.procook.co.uk, and through its 58 own-brand retail stores, located across the UK.

Founded 28 years ago as a family business, selling cookware sets by direct mail in the UK, ProCook has grown into a market leading, multi-channel specialist kitchenware company, employing over 600 colleagues and operating from its store support centre in Gloucester.

ProCook recently reported its FY24 fourth quarter trading update  when CEO Lee Tappenden said: "I am pleased with the growing momentum in our performance which reflects the enhanced range, experience and value we are delivering to our customers."
