Appeal after man dies on A46

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian died following a collision with a lorry on the A46 yesterday (Tuesday) morning.

The collision happened shortly after 6am by the layby on the A46, close to the Beckford Road turning in Dumbleton.

The 28-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the lorry was uninjured, and no arrests have been made.

West Mercia Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen or have dash-cam footage of the collision, or of the pedestrian or lorry in the minutes before the collision.
